SENIOR STAFF MEMBERS
Robert Rymell is a 1980 graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering and three years of Bachelor of Business at York University. He is a professional engineer and registered consulting engineer licensed to practice in Ontario and Alberta and is on the executive board of Construction Specifications Canada, Ontario Building Envelope Council and Canadian Condominium Institute.
Coming from a manufacturing background in construction products, Robert has extensive experience in project and construction management, investigation of building deterioration, reparation design and construction litigation throughout North America. Robert has also published numerous papers on the topic of building science and often lectures on the subject at technical conferences and seminars. Bob also has a special working relationship with the University of Waterloo which involves collaboration on advance hydrothermal moisture analysis using the latest computer programs with validated post-processors.
Partner - Senior Engineer
Renato Veerasammy is a 1985 graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in civil engineering and is currently enrolled in the MBA correspondence program at the Edinburgh Business School. He is a certified thermograher and is a registered consulting engineer licensed to practice in both Ontario and the Northwest Territories, and has membership in a number of organizations such as ASTM, CSCE, ARIDO, CSC, PSMA, and SMPS. In 2002 Renato was invited to join the CCCME board and is currently serving his second three year term.
His career includes extensive research, product development, compliance testing, extreme cold climate analysis, specification and code development, building envelope inspection, material expert, failure analysis, forensic engineering, and business development with national and international experience in USA, Europe and Asia.
